Vegas NJ hosts New Jersey Wedding Vendor Network Educational Seminar and B2B Mixer on Jan. 9th

Join other wedding professionals at Vegas NJ on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 for a facility tour, educational seminar and networking event!

The NJ wedding business community comes together for an educational seminar and networking event on January 9th to help industry members connect and increase marketing efforts

In it’s 5th year, various New Jersey wedding companies have collaborated again to produce an educational and networking opportunity and support a new wedding facility. This NJ Wedding Vendor Network event will take place on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 (snow date – January 10th) at a brand new wedding and special events location called “Vegas NJ” at 1380 Sussex Turnpike in Randolph, NJ (Morris County), from 3-9pm.

Past networking events at various locations around the Garden State have attracted from 200-300 wedding businesses and entrepreneurs, and are always open to wedding planners, all types of vendors, suppliers, retailers and any other business that offers wedding related services to the bridal consumer, such as limousines, photography, videography, travel and honeymoons, bridal fashions, formal wear, entertainment, invitations, favors, wedding cakes, media or print and actively market to engaged couples in the Tri-State area…

The Educational Seminar (from 3:30-5:30pm) includes sage advice on marketing your business with a KEYNOTE TOPIC entitled, “Meeting Today’s Challenges with New Innovations” and “ReBranding: Re-Invent Yourself” presented by Kenny Baroff, owner of Marketing Plus One, Event Magazine Publisher and Party Showcase Producer. Mr. Baroff has been a leader in the field of marketing strategies, developed many business ventures and assisted hundreds of clients throughout his career. As a former owner of a retail chain and mail order business Mr. Baroff is familiar with the tactical approach to helping a business thrive economically and successfully. His background in finance and marketing has also helped troubled businesses to get back on track. He has led seminars and written articles pertaining to marketing, search engine optimization, and business tactics. Mr. Baroff’s innovative and visionary trends have allowed him to be a leader in small business development.

During the Educational Seminar, there will also be a PANEL DISCUSSION on “Boosting Your Wedding Business” hosted by Brian Lawrence, with local Wedding Industry leaders, featuring an open mic Q&A session. Topics include social media, networking, marketing (print/internet/bridal shows), latest trends and more!

Following the seminar, attendees are invited into the Networking / B2B Mixer (from 6:00-9:00pm) where you can view various displays from sponsors and other members of the wedding business community. This event is your chance to mingle, eat, drink, discuss trends and make your business a success in 2013, 2014 and beyond. Please bring an ample supply of business cards for networking.

Stephanie Scarpa, from Cherry Hill, is a Math Teacher at a regional High School in Mullica Hill, NJ and her fiance, Richard Lechner, is a funeral director in his family business, Lechner Funeral Home in Medford, NJ. Their wedding ceremony will be taking place in Tabernacle, NJ on June 22, 2013 and their wedding reception is planned at long-time Wedding Road Show partner, The Stateroom on Long Beach Island.

Stephanie and Richard have been dating for 4 1/2 years and have spent a lot of time together with friends and family on Long Beach Island over the years. They were engaged in Philadelphia in January 2012, and Stephanie always pictured a “beach wedding” complete with wedding photos taken on the beach. Kent, who contacted Stephanie directly, said “They are thrilled to have won the ‘VIP Experience’ at the Wedding Road Show, which includes an overnight stay at Daddy O Boutique Hotel on Saturday night, along with a custom welcome gift basket by Camille’s Floral Design, an LBI-themed cookie basket from A Sweet Memory, and they will chauffeured around the region in a white stretch limousine to make their stops during the Wedding Road Show by Lacey Limousines. “In addition to the package NJWedding.com is also providing a dining gift card to Daddy O Restaurant for the winning couple.”
