New Jersey wedding professionals at a recent networking event at the Jersey Shore

One of the best ways to make new contacts in the wedding community is to attend the NJ wedding industry networking event, taking place on Tuesday, April 27th at The Landmark in E. Rutherford, NJ

The leading advertising and media resources in the Garden State are coming together for a networking event and facility presentation. The first event took place in December 2008 at Solar do Minho Banquet Center in Roselle Park, the second was in April 2009 at the Skylands at Randolph, followed by an event at Branches in W. Long Branch in July 2009 and the last event of 2009 took place in October at Paris Caterers at The Palace in Blackwood. All four were a huge success, attracting from 200-300 wedding professionals throughout the tri-state area. Now The Landmark in East Rutherford, NJ is opening its’ doors for an enjoyable evening and networking event on Tuesday, April 27th from 6-9 pm.

Meet fellow colleagues and top professionals in the wedding industry and learn about marketing your wedding business in magazines, on the Internet and through social media sites like facebook and Twitter. Also, speak with top advertising specialists such as Erik Kent from NJWedding.com, Joe Tortorello from WeddingZone.net, David Ciccolella from WedAlert.com, Tom Chillemi from BRIDES.com / BRIDES New Jersey, Gary Paris from Contemporary Bride Magazine, Melissa Koronakis from (201) BRIDE magazine, Bill Lippolis from Bridal Expo, Inc. of New Jersey and many other local wedding businesses exhibiting at the event.

These industry networking events provide an opportunity for wedding professionals to meet and exchange business cards, mingle, and discuss trends affecting the wedding and special events industry here in New Jersey and the tri-state area. While many companies struggle with economic factors, evolving trends regarding technology and communication and the ongoing recession, others are succeeding and growing their business, so often business owners can pick up tips on what to do different that can produce a better result.

Admission to this event is FREE for New Jersey based businesses (up to 2 people per company) and $10 for PA/NY companies or for each additional guest). For more information and to register, visit http://www.njwedding.com/industryevent or come to the event and present your business card, which will serve as your admission.
