Downtown Red Bank Welcomes Brides and Grooms For Annual “Wedding Walk” Event

RED BANK, NJ – Red Bank RiverCenter is proud to announce the annual Red Bank Wedding Walk taking place on Saturday, March 12, 2011. The success of the previous Red Bank Wedding Walks has prompted Red Bank retailers, RiverCenter and other wedding-related businesses to continue this unique event by popular demand of brides, grooms and their families. The 2011 Red Bank Wedding Walk promises, once again, to be one of the most fun and creative events throughout New Jersey.

This one day event is designed for prospective brides, grooms, families and wedding attendants to come to beautiful, downtown Red Bank to plan their wedding. Red Bank is a centrally-located destination in New Jersey where brides and grooms can plan the wedding of their dreams, find their perfect gown, tuxedos, photographers, choose their wedding rings or bands, find custom designed jewelry, accessories as well as rare, artistic gifts and favors – all found within walking distance. In addition, couples can hold their rehearsal dinner, pre-wedding parties, and have a waterside gala reception on the Navesink River – all in one destination – Red Bank!

The Red Bank Wedding Walk offers a chance to see it all on a self-guided tour of over 40 wedding-related businesses culminating with a free champagne reception at The Oyster Point Hotel (146 Bodman Place, Red Bank) where guests can enter to win fabulous prizes such as: a beautiful wedding ring, a designer bridal headpiece, a free tuxedo, an elegant and complimentary bridal shower for 25 guests, professional photographic engagement sessions among other highly-prized gifts. The events features experts to advise you on the many different aspects of your wedding at a variety of wedding-related businesses including: Florists/Design, Formalwear, Hotels/Banquet Halls, Jewelers, Photographers, Parties/Catering, Dancing Lessons, Salons/Spas, Shoes/Accessories, Transportation and other select wedding-related businesses, such as Lingerie, and Custom Framers. In addition, as you consult with the experts, most participating stores will be providing fun, foods, and libations to sustain and entertain with DJ or live music for your enjoyment.

Brides-to-be, mark your calendars making Red Bank the place to be on SATURDAY, MARCH 12th! Check-in and registration BEGINS at 9 AM at the The Molly Pitcher Inn (88 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank). Guests are strongly encouraged to pre-register at www.onlyoneredbankwedding.com. Upon registration, participants will then begin to visit the many registered businesses in the Red Bank district either by walking, free shuttle or trolley service. The transportation is being provided to assist patrons in seeing at least 16 businesses to be eligible for the prize entries. All registrants will receive a Wedding Walk map, and bride-to-be’s will receive a complimentary tote bag, the perfect accessory to hold all the giveaways and information.

Participants can begin returning to the reception at The Oyster Point Hotel after 3 PM to enjoy the continuing festivities and the announcement of the lucky prize winners.
