Recent book features the story of a wedding dress and how it took this New Jersey couple around the world
How many brides wear their wedding dress once and then slip it into the attic never to see it again? Not Jennifer Salvage. Since her wedding in March 2008, she’s worn her wedding dress close to 100 times and it has traveled over 100,000 miles in a project with her husband Jeff called “One Dress, One Woman, One World.” Avid travelers, the couple got married on Easter Island and have been on a honeymoon ever since. Whether near or far, if an opportunity to don her dress for an glamorous, iconic, or funny photograph arises they pull their Maggie Sottero Destinations gown out of their backpack and go to work.
You can join them on their journey around the world and experience the world through the eyes of a bride. Their book “One Dress, One Woman, One World” chronicles the loving couple’s travel with their unbelievably versatile wedding dress on one trip of a lifetime after another. The book covers Jennifer’s unprecedented escapades over 85 locations across 6 continents over their first two and a half years of marriage. Read her firsthand account while looking through her husband’s lens and witness the fun, hardship and splendor colorfully displayed through these inspirational photographs.
